Bar Manager – The Crystal Maze Live Experience West End - London

The Crystal Maze LIVE Experience is the ultimate team play attraction. Based on the iconic Crystal Maze TV Show; the live experience gives teams the chance to run, jump, slide and challenge themselves – all against the clock.
You will be joining a fast-paced business that puts fun and challenge at the heart of everything we do. As well as a competitive salary, you will receive 25 days annual leave (+ Bank Holidays), and a host of other benefits.

You’ll have a passion for the attraction, and leisure sector, with a keen understanding of Bar Operations and sales. Our bar manager must ensure the bar operates smoothly, with sufficient stock and staff at all times. The ideal candidate in this position must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and management skills should be accompanied by a customer service orientation and commitment to company values and image. The bar manager pays close attention to all operational details to ensure the comfort, safety and enjoyment of guests and job satisfaction of staff, as well as the financial success of the establishment.

Role and Responsibility

Manage the business aspects of the bar, such as keeping a current liquor license, negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals.
Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls.
Work with senior management to identify and develop value added products and services to enhance the guest experience and drive sales
Responsible for Managing budgets and exceeding targets
Driving revenue and new business through sales, event, strategic planning and in-house promotions to deliver budgeted sales and profit
To form part of the Duty Management team of The Crystal Maze Live Experience London when required
Focusing on liquor G.P & To Ensure G.P targets are met without fail at all times.
Recruitment and payroll control
Controlling stocks, money and all company equipment within area of responsibility, ensuring optimum profitability of business
To drive the product knowledge of the entire TLCW team, increasing confidence in staff & sales.

Skills and Experience
2+ years’ experience in a management role
Personal Licence Holder is preferred but not essential
Strong understanding of business management and accounting principles.
You will be highly organised and be proficient in back of house operational strategies.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Ability to take initiative and a practical approach to problem solving
Positive and flexible approach to work (weekend, evening and night time work will be required
Passionate about customer service and the food and drinks industry

Sales and Events Executive (based in Manchester) - Manchester

As Sales Exec, you will have a unique opportunity to sell an outstanding product to an eager audience.

Reporting to Event Sales Director you will be responsible for creating warm leads from cold and passing onward to the Sales Manager and working to close Corporate bookings for the attraction.

Maze Master for the ALL NEW West End Maze - London

Walk in the footsteps of Richard O’Brien in this immersive experience based on the popular 90s game show, each Maze Master guides a team of eight audience members through four adventure time zones – Aztec, Futuristic, Industrial and Medieval. Maze Masters must advise and adjudicate as their team takes on challenges that test their mental and physical skills.

Person Specification
Our Maze Masters need to be witty, charismatic, lovable & fair. Able to think on their feet & facilitate the audience experience in an ever-changing environment, no two performances are ever the same.  Previous experience in immersive or interactive theatre is essential. Our current Maze Masters are award-winning comedians, writers & theatre-makers. We are looking for incredibly confident performers with excellent comic timing, excellent improvisers, game-play adjudication and those who can deal with adults behaving like children (wink-wink-smiley face).

Audition
If selected for an audition, it is important you start devising the persona you will be creating with us. We will be working with each performer to draw out and create a new Maze Master persona, one that is unique to the maze and individual to you. What is your reason for existing in the Maze? Who are the team in relation to you & why are they joining you on this adventure? What binds you and the team together?

The world of The Crystal Maze is one of fun and irreverence, the characters you create have to be grounded in reality but operate in surrealist environs, you must be able to sustain and develop them over the course of the many shows.

Please note that being able to make the below audition & training dates in their entirety will be a condition of the offer and we regret that we cannot take any applications forward that are unable to commit to the below:

Manchester Crew Member - Manchester

The Maze needs crew! Our crew team reset the games throughout the day and assist Maze Masters in their journey through the many dimensions of the maze in regards to guest safety. You will also assist in ensuring the different areas are ready for visitors at the start of the day and closed down properly at the end of the night.This is a hands on role that requires some technical ability. We are an immersive theatre venue so a background in the environment is helpful.

Role and Responsibility

 

You are responsible for delivering £9million in ticketing revenue across the business.

You will manage the marketing budget delivering return on investment across both digital and traditional media.

You will be passionate about digital activation – with a passion for social media.

You will set and deliver the annual and long term marketing strategy, leading both internal and external stakeholders to deliver it.

You will set the pricing strategy and manage ticket yield through online pricing, partnerships and promotions.

You will deliver internal communications, and support the roll out of the company values.

You will be responsible for consumer data protection and support the marketing manager in the CRM strategy to deliver sales and engagement.

You will maintain editorial control on all marketing and public relations collateral that is released on behalf of the company.

You will work closely with the MD to seek out new revenue opportunities for the business.

You will be passionate about customer excellence both pre and post the visit to the attraction.

You will manage a small but passionate team which includes a Marketing Manager and Guest Services and Ticketing Team.

You will have strong relationships in the travel trade industry, and a capability of opening up new opportunities with partners.

You will have excellent negotiating skills and a good understanding of contracts and regulations.

You will be passionate about measuring and delivering sales. With experience in driving teams to deliver targets.

You will have experience in corporate event or conference sales, and be confident dealing with clients and agencies.

You will set and deliver the annual and long term sales strategy, leading both internal and external stakeholders to deliver it.

You will set the pricing strategy and manage ticket yield throughout the sales function.

You will be responsible for sales data protection and support the team to ensure that all data is managed securely.

You will maintain editorial control on all marketing and public relations collateral that is released on behalf of the company.

You will work closely with the MD to seek out new revenue opportunities for the business.

You will be passionate about customer excellence both pre and post the visit to the attraction.

You will manage a small but passionate team which includes two sales managers.

You will be results and delivery motivated and be able to positively drive your team to deliver.
