Is Crystal Maze London suitable for those with photosensitive epilepsy or light sensitivity?

We work incredibly hard to ensure our attractions are accessible to our guests, and photosensitivity is an area where we are extra cautious. There are some areas of the attraction where there are strobe/flashing lights:

  • Photo Green Screen at the beginning of your experience (camera flash)
  • Strobing lights in the Industrial Zone stairs
  • Strobing lights between the first and second Future Zones
  • Lighting in the tunnel on the way to the Crystal Dome
  • Within and around the Crystal Dome itself during the main show
  • Camera flash from the manual photo taken after the Crystal Dome show

Carers are generally unable to participate in games unless they purchase a ticket. The carer must provide all physical assistance themselves, the staff are not able to provide physical support. Please note, free carer tickets are linked to designated access shows or pre-arranged support, rather than standard sessions. Please reach out to Guest Services in advance of your booking.

We don’t offer dedicated access shows, largely due to the historic nature of the building. Any adjustments depend on the guests disability and the session type. Please reach out to Guest Services if you require additional assistance and they will support you.

Please note, sessions can be physically demanding and require guests to be able to move around for approximately 75 minutes, with stairs and tight spaces. If you require additional access support, we strongly recommend speaking to our Guest Services team and booking into our access shows.

Please contact Guest Services to discuss ahead of your visit. Please note, assistance dogs are not permitted on slides, transitional tunnels or within the dome.

An accessible toilet is available on the first floor by the bar.

Unfortunately, due to the physical nature of the attraction, pregnant guests are not permitted.

We would like to take this opportunity to highlight the Sunflower lanyard scheme (information can be found at: https://hdsunflower.com/). The purpose of this lanyard scheme is to raise awareness of hidden disabilities and additional needs, and our staff recognise these lanyards. By wearing a sunflower lanyard, our staff are alerted to the fact that you may require additional assistance, such as to be brought forward through a queue, assistance in finding a quiet area, or to be helped to skip a certain section of the attraction.
