DWAYNE “THE ROCK” JOHNSON NAMED THE UK’S FAVOURITE BALD CELEBRITY 

As a sea of bald heads is set to join Pitbull in Hyde Park, The Crystal Maze Experience is celebrating baldness with free entry for those wearing bald caps. 

Forget hair today, gone tomorrow! This week, The Crystal Maze Experience is celebrating one of music’s most iconic bald stars by offering free entry to anyone wearing a bald cap. 

To mark Pitbull’s headline performance in Hyde Park on 10th July, where thousands of fans are expected to don bald caps, white shirts and aviators in tribute to the global star and in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record, The Crystal Maze Experience is inviting wannabe Mr Worldwides and original Maze Master Richard O’Brien’s alike, to put their new looks to good use by taking on the attraction free of charge. 

The hilarious, hairless promotion comes as new research has revealed that baldness has never been cooler. In a survey of 2,000 UK adults, conducted by The Crystal Maze Experience, three in five (62%) Brits say being bald is more fashionable now that it was 10 years ago. And Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is most responsible for this, as he tops the list of Brits’ favourite bald celebrities, in a list that includes Pitbull himself, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham and Alan Shearer.

And it’s good news for The Crystal Maze’s own Richard O’Brien, as he’s voted the 12th favourite British bald celeb, with his fabulous fashion flair a hit for Brits. 

The research also found that Brits associate baldness with humour (19%), confidence (18%), strength (16%), and friendliness (16%), showing that bald is truly back in business. And it’s Millennials that say bald is cool as one in five (18%) 25–34-year-olds agree.
