This summer just got even more exciting at The Crystal Maze Experience!

We’re thrilled to announce that we are officially taking part in the UK Government’s Great British Summer Savings initiative, helping families enjoy unforgettable days out for less during the school holidays.

From 25th June to 1st September 2026, visitors can benefit from reduced VAT on our family-friendly attractions. That means more adventure, more memories, and more chances to step inside the iconic world of The Crystal Maze - all at a lower cost this summer.

With the Family Ticket, Adult Tickets are just £26.50 and Child Tickets £23.19.

What is the Great British Summer Savings scheme?

The Great British Summer Savings scheme is a government-backed initiative designed to support families and the UK’s leisure and hospitality sector during the summer holidays.

As part of the scheme, VAT is temporarily reduced from 20% to 5% on eligible activities, including:

  • Children’s and family tickets for attractions and experiences

  • Entry to theme parks, soft play centres, museums, zoos and more

  • Cinema, theatre and live entertainment tickets

  • Children’s meals when dining out

This means participating businesses can pass on savings directly to customers, making days out more affordable for everyone.

Our Standard Tickets, Family Tickets, Family VIP Tickets and VIP tickets all qualify for the 5% VAT saving. 

The reduced 5% VAT will automatically apply to all qualifying tickets purchased on the-crystal-maze.com.

There is nothing additional you need to do, all discounts have been applied automatically to the qualifying tickets. 

Yes, as this is an offer designed to help families with the cost-of-living, we have automatically included these VAT savings on our family tickets. These tickets are for a minimum of three people including at least one child. One adult (18+) per team that includes any children 9-16. Saving you 50% compared to purchasing standard tickets separately. 

Yes, we have included the VAT savings on our Game On pass. If you are looking to play our three exciting games this Summer, you can book them together and save 44%. Just book in The Crystal Maze Experience first and then visit to play PAC-MAN and Chaos Karts within 90 days. 

We have instructed our partners to pass these savings onto our customers as well, these savings will be live in the coming days. 

Yes, the Great British Summer Saving scheme is for everyone. 

The purchase of gift vouchers and bookings made using a gift voucher during the reduced VAT period do not qualify for the discount
